Department overview:

EMEA Cost Management Analytics (CMA) is a team of specialists leading financial analysis, and analytics, contributing as a member of the EMEA Finance team to the success of the firm.  The EMEA Finance department is a collaborative environment with a strong conduct and risk culture.  The CMA team is ideal for individuals interested in looking to: enhance their expertise and capabilities; be a trusted partner; be involved in leading financial discussions with the business/senior management; uphold the highest standards of compliance; and take the next step in their career.

 

The Cost Management & Analytics team are responsible for helping to drive cost efficiency through the analysis and MI reporting of the Nomura Group’s expense base, including global investment expenditure and subsequent returns.

 

Role description:

Two elements to this role that require overlapping / complimentary skills

  1. Manage production of monthly Global Investment Spend, and any related benefits, tracking MI and underlying analytical schedules

 

  1. Broader cost advisory role – Specifically relating to but not limited to the Group CAO division
