Investment Fund Oversight Lead

Senior Fund Oversight Specialist (US hours) senior · Asset Management

Key responsibilities

Are you ready to take ownership of independent fund oversight controls in a global asset management environment? We’re looking for a Senior Fund Oversight Specialist in Poland to support oversight of US-domiciled funds and work with senior stakeholders across Europe and the US.

In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of independent controls over fund administration and transfer agency processes for US-domiciled funds, including e.g.: NAV calculation, financial statement reviews and regulatory reporting reviews.
• Help fulfil the oversight responsibilities of the governing body by identifying, assessing and escalating operational or regulatory risks.
• Work closely with internal teams and external service providers to review control outcomes, challenge findings and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, oversight standards and scalable ways of working.
• Support regulatory change management activities and help translate new requirements into practical oversight processes.

Your Career Comeback

We are open to applications from career returners. Find out more about our program on ubs.com/careercomeback.

The team

You will join the ManCo Delivery Team at UBS Asset Management (Europe) S.A., Poland Branch. The team delivers investment fund-related services to European Management Companies in Luxembourg and Switzerland, as well as to a US fund manager.

You will report directly to a local Team Lead and cooperate closely with colleagues across UBS, global stakeholders and external service providers. The role offers meaningful exposure to international fund governance, cross-border oversight practices and US fund-specific processes.

Your skills and experience

• Ideally 7+ years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, NAV calculation, transfer agency, fund oversight or a related investment fund function.
• Ability to accommodate occasional meetings or business activities during US working hours (typically several days per month) to support global stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of fund administration and fund accounting processes, including financial statement review; knowledge of US fund specifics would be an advantage.
• A relevant academic background, such as a degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex queries in a timely, structured and risk-aware manner.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive approach to identifying, escalating and addressing potential issues.
• Collaborative working style, with the confidence to take ownership and complete tasks independently.
• Very good written and spoken English; knowledge of German or French would be an asset.
