We're growing our Small Law team and looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help bring this technology to sole practitioners and boutique law firms across Australia.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for winning new business across the Small Law market.
This is a genuine hunter role where you'll proactively build pipeline, engage prospective customers, and manage opportunities through to close. You'll introduce law firms to market-leading Legal AI and legal technology solutions that help them work smarter, faster and more profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Hunt for new business opportunities across the Small Law market.
Generate your own pipeline through outbound calls, email outreach, virtual meetings and customer visits.
Drive new customer acquisition through consistent prospecting and lead generation activity.
Manage a high-volume sales pipeline from prospecting through to close.
Conduct discovery conversations and position tailored technology solutions.
Achieve activity, pipeline and revenue targets.
Build strong relationships with decision-makers across your territory.
What We're Looking For
Proven success in business development, new business or B2B sales.
A genuine passion for prospecting, pipeline generation and winning new customers.
Experience generating your own opportunities through outbound sales activity.
Success in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
Experience managing multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales cycle.
Comfortable closing shorter sales cycle, transactional B2B deals.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Motivated by performance-based earnings and a commission structure that rewards effort and results.
