Citi Japan のオペレーション部門において、ローン・エージェンシー業務を中心に携わりながら、ローン・オペレーション業務（取引計上・仕訳・元帳管理など）にもクロスファンクショナルで関与できる、希少性の高いポジションです。シンジケートローンのエージェント業務をメインとしつつ、ローン・オペレーション両方に携われるハイブリッドな人材を求めています。AIを活用した業務効率化にも積極的に取り組める方を歓迎します。
This is a rare dual-scope opportunity within Citi Japan's Operations function — you will take ownership of syndicated loan agency operations while also contributing directly to Loan Operations across deal booking, journal entry, and general ledger management. If you are motivated to build specialist expertise across both functions and are open to working with modern, AI-assisted tools, this role offers meaningful cross-functional exposure from day one.
Responsibilities
【主な業務内容 / Key responsibilities】
シンジケートローンのエージェント業務をエンドツーエンドで担当します — ドローダウン処理、ロールオーバー管理、返済、手数料決済、案件クローズまでの全ライフサイクルを管理します。(Deliver end-to-end syndicated loan agency operations across the full deal lifecycle, including drawdown processing, rollover management, repayment, fee settlement, and deal closure.)
シンジケート参加行への通知配布、金利リセット、貸出割当、手数料配分などのエージェント銀行業務を正確に調整・実行します。(Coordinate agent bank functions with precision, including the distribution of notices, interest rate resets, lender allocations, and fee distributions to syndicate members.)
リレーションシップマネージャー、クレジット、法務、ファイナンス等の社内関係者、および外部の貸付人・借入人との間で、ローン・エージェンシー・チームの主要な業務窓口を担います。(Act as the primary operational contact between the Loan Agency team, internal stakeholders, and external lenders and borrowers throughout the syndication lifecycle.)
LoanIQを含む社内システムへのディール計上、現金取引の記録、ポジション更新など、ローン・オペレーションチームの日常的な取引処理を担当します。(Process deal bookings, cash transactions, and position updates within loan management systems including LoanIQ, as part of the Loan Operations supporting scope.)
融資案件にわたる仕訳（JE）および元帳（GL）エントリーを正確に入力・管理します。(Maintain journal entries and general ledger entries across multi-currency and multi-tranche loan structures with accuracy.)
ポジション照合、現金照合、ノストロ照合を実施し、差異を特定・解消することでローン記録の正確性を維持します。(Conduct position, cash, and nostro reconciliations, identifying and resolving breaks to maintain accurate loan records.)
オペレーションおよびテクノロジーチームと連携し、システム改善プロジェクトへ参画します — ユーザー受け入れテスト（UAT）、プロセス文書化、プラットフォームアップグレードへの変更管理を含みます。(Collaborate with operations and technology colleagues on system enhancement projects, contributing to UAT, process documentation, and platform improvement initiatives.)
案件のコベナンツおよびコンプライアンス要件をモニタリングし、例外や違反が発生した際には適切なガバナンス経路を通じて迅速かつ適切にエスカレーションします。(Monitor deal covenants and compliance requirements, escalating exceptions or breaches through appropriate governance channels in a timely manner.)
Required qualifications & skills
【必須要件 / Required qualifications】
金融機関における4年以上の実務経験があり、ローンプロセス（ディール計上、GL/JEの基本原則、ローン照合、現金決済）に関する実務知識を有していること。(More than 4 years of experience at a financial institution, with working knowledge of loan processes including deal booking, general ledger and journal entry principles, reconciliation practices, and cash settlement.)
ローン文書（信用契約書、ファシリティレター、エージェント銀行通知など）の管理・準備・レビューを担当できること。(Ability to manage, prepare, and review loan documentation including credit agreements, facility letters, and agent bank notices within a syndicated loan context.)
業務上のリスクや問題を特定、軽減、管理、エスカレーションできること。(Demonstrated ability to identify, mitigate, manage, and escalate operational risks and issues accurately and in a timely manner.)
適用される法令・規制・社内ポリシーの遵守に対する高いコンプライアンス意識を有していること。(Strong awareness of and commitment to complying with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, with a consistent track record of doing so.)
日本語ネイティブレベル（話す・書く・読む）— 外部取引先とのエンゲージメント、ローン文書管理、日本市場における規制対応に不可欠です。(Native-level Japanese across speaking, writing, and reading — essential for external counterparty engagement, loan documentation management, and regulatory correspondence in the Japanese market.)
AIを活用した業務ツールや新技術に対して好奇心と積極的な姿勢を持ち、インテリジェントオートメーションやAIによる文書処理の業務導入に意欲があること。(Genuine curiosity and openness toward AI-assisted tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to explore their application in operations workflows including intelligent automation and AI-powered document processing.)
Beneficial skills & qualifications
【歓迎要件 / Beneficial qualifications】
シンジケートローン、ローン・エージェンシー業務、またはローン・オペレーション業務における実務経験があること。(Prior exposure to syndicated lending, loan agency operations, or loan operations within a financial institution.)
LoanIQ（Finastra LoanIQ）または同等のローン管理システムにおける実務経験（特にディール計上、サービシング、照合業務）があること。(Hands-on experience with LoanIQ or an equivalent loan management system, particularly in deal booking, servicing, or reconciliation workflows.)
クロスボーダー案件対応やグローバル拠点とのコミュニケーションに活用できるビジネスレベルの英語力（話す・書く・読む）があること。(Business-level English proficiency across speaking, writing, and reading, to support communication with global counterparts and cross-border deal coordination.)
システム改善活動（UATへの参加、プラットフォーム展開プロジェクトなど）への参画経験があること。(Familiarity with system enhancement activities, including participation in user acceptance testing or platform rollout projects within an operations environment.)
