What role will you play?
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Employee Compliance team, supporting both day-to-day compliance operations and quality control activities. You will help ensure operational processes are executed effectively, consistently, and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, while also identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and enhance overall process effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational support, including but not limited to:
- Monitoring of employee trading accounts and independently investigate complex activities, policy exceptions, and potential breaches; assess risks, recommend appropriate actions, and drive timely resolution in accordance with internal compliance policies.
- Providing advisory support for staff inquiries on personal compliance matters through email, phone, and other support channels; resolve complex inquiries and escalate material or sensitive issues where appropriate.
- Support the fulfillment of licensing and regulatory requirements, including reporting and overall comprehensive oversight and monitoring.
- Plan and conduct risk-based reviews across compliance processes, applying sound judgement to define scope, assess evidence, document conclusions, and identify control gaps.
- Own the tracking, validation, and closure of remediation actions; challenge the adequacy of proposed actions and escalate delays, dependencies, or residual risks as appropriate.
- Lead the design, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control testing procedures for new and existing operational and compliance activities.
- Analyse trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks; translate findings into practical recommendations that strengthen processes, controls, governance, and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful reports on review outcomes, risk themes, control effectiveness, and remediation progress to support management oversight and decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, including coaching colleagues and supporting consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Lead or contribute to additional assignments, process improvements, and team priorities, working collaboratively with stakeholders and providing support or guidance to less experienced colleagues where required.
