Description & Requirements
Main responsibilities:
- Conducting research on IP-related legal issues and regulations;
- Drafting legal arguments, comments, and analyses; and
- Translating documents into English or Vietnamese and vice versa.
Skills and experience:
General:
- Third- and last-year law students from Hanoi Law University, Vietnam National University, Foreign Trade University, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, and National Economics University.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex ideas;
- Highly motivated, quick learner with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to handle pressure and sensitive matters; and
- Thorough competency with relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new applications
Technical:
- Strong understanding of Vietnam's legal framework;
- Knowledge of Vietnam's regulations and enforcement environment concerning the relevant practice areas; and
- Knowledge of or experience with IP prosecution and/or enforcement is a plus.
