In this role you will be responsible for:
- Oversees running of laboratory on shift and assist in training laboratory personnel
- Ensure that the truck samples are taken correctly before any dispatch
- Assist Quality Controller with COA and perform PTO on laboratory samplers
- Ensuring that laboratory personnel follow laboratory procedures
- Check laboratory equipment’s before starting shift and report deviation
- Ensure that shift handover is done properly
- Assist the Quality Controller with stockpile management
- Enforce safety amongst laboratory personnel
- Ensure that all safety protocols are maintained
About you:
- Grade 12
- A minimum of Three (3) years’ laboratory ad sampling g experience
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Have good knowledge and experience of stockpile management
- Medically fit to work on surface and heights.
