Purpose of the role

To participate in the day-to-day activities within the International Corporate Banking division by providing transactional support that help senior colleagues manage key client relationships, make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new opportunities.

Why the International Corporate Banking Off-Cycle Internship Programme?

As an off-cycle analyst, you will enter a supportive, collaborative environment known for its pace. During your internship, we will teach you entrepreneurial skills within the bank's fast-growing division. You'll interact with global clients, support in deals, and learn from senior bankers. This programme covers financial modelling, credit skills, CIB products, and solutions, plus understanding product sets like FX, DCM, and Barclaycard. You will gain a deeper understanding to master the end-to-end deal process, execution, and soft client management skills. You have the chance to contribute to growth, innovate solutions, align with sustainability goals, and assist senior bankers, gaining a platform for impact and development.

Your responsibilities encompass assisting with relationship loans, cash management RFPs, trade finance facilities, amongst others. Who we’re looking for

To be considered for this programme, you must be in your penultimate or final year of your degree, in any discipline.

Language requirements: Fluent in Dutch and English.

Ideally, you'll have a keen interest in business and finance and an a curiosity to learn. We value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.

The location for this role is indicated in the job title, and you will be based at that location. If you are accepted into our graduate programme, your base location will be the same as it was during your internship.

Working in Amsterdam
Our office is located in the heart of the Zuidas, the business district of Amsterdam, and is home to more than 25 colleagues, who work in our investment banking, pan-European corporate banking and support function teams. The office has good access to transport links and is easily accessible by car and the Amsterdam Zuid station.

Entry Salary: €31,200
Upper Salary: €31,200


The entry and upper salary information above includes only annual full-time equivalent base salary and represents the typical range of pay for the role. The actual pay rate will reflect the responsibility level of the role and experience level of the individual. The entry and upper salary information does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
