A Day in the Life:
As the Key Account Manager Benelux for Ici Paris XL in L'Oréal Luxe, you will be the strategic lead for one of our most important retail partnerships, reporting to the Group Account Manager ICI. Based in Belgium, you will be responsible for the long-term commercial vision for Ici Paris XL across the Benelux region for your own categories, ensuring L'Oréal Luxe remains their preferred partner in the beauty category.
In this role, you will:
- Drive the Business: Own the Ici Paris XL Benelux P&L, developing annual commercial plans, setting KPIs, and leading Joint Business Plan (JBP) negotiations with senior retail stakeholders.
- Lead Strategy & Activation: Translate shopper insights into commercial opportunities and collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply, and Finance teams to ensure best-in-class brand activation across both online and offline touchpoints in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- Shape the Future: Actively contribute to the broader Benelux retail strategy, continuously optimizing trade terms, promotional efficiency, and identifying new avenues for omnichannel growth.
- Partner & Collaborate: Build deep, trusted relationships with the Ici Paris XL buying and merchandising teams, aligning our brand strategies with their retail goals.
We Are Looking For:
You are a great match for this role if you have a strategic mindset, strong retail acumen, and a proven record of driving commercial success. With solid (>3 years) Key Account experience (preferably within FMCG, beauty, or selective retail), you excel at building strong relationships and translating complex data into actionable growth plans.
We're looking for someone with:
- Business & Financial strategy: Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L, forecast results, optimize trade investments, and build long-term value.
- Negotiation & Influence: Skill in leading complex commercial negotiations and influencing senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Strategic Planning: The capability to develop and execute comprehensive, customer-centric business plans tailored to the Benelux market.
- Retail Expertise: Deep understanding of omnichannel retail dynamics, preferably with prior exposure to the selective beauty or perfume retail landscape (e.g., Ici Paris XL).
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in analyzing sell-in/sell-out data and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Languages: Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset given the Benelux scope and Belgium base.
