Job Description

Purpose of the role:

To provide a catering service to x13 front of house meeting rooms (split over 2 floors) at Brookfield’s headquarters i.e. Brookfield Place - 10 Carrington Street Sydney. 

The role provides a service to staff and Brookfields external clients for events during business hours and after-hours onsite at Brookfield Place some of which include but are not limited to:  Boardroom meetings, Formal Lunches, Onsite staff training events, Staff drinks and external events held throughout the year for Brookfield affiliated partners.

Responsible for:

• Deliver a professional workplace catering service to Brookfield clients, management, and staff.
• Service x13 front of house meeting rooms with tea, coffee, and water.
• Action catering requests from business representatives.
• Liaise third-party suppliers regarding catering orders.
• Rooms to be set up with water and cleared prior to the next meeting. 
• Monitor stock levels in the catering kitchen and order new supplies when needed. 
• Recommend new catering suppliers that meet certain criteria i.e., value for money, quality of product, can deliver to premises, send invoices for payment via Coupa accounts system.
• Send all staff invites for monthly staff birthday morning teas and monthly Friday night drinks.
• Manage expenses for ordering catering supplies.
• Reconcile expenses on AMEX card monthly for ad-hoc catering purchases.

• Accommodate ad-hoc after-business hours events on site. i.e., setup spaces, order catering, waiter service.
