Job Summary
As a Branch Manager, you’ll manage the branch to achieve the team sales target by maximizing new business and referral opportunities and deepening existing customer relationships to the specified service standards for the Priority and Priority Private segments, while ensuring robust sales process and stringent service standards in compliance with local regulatory requirements.

About our Wealth and Retail Banking business
We service more than 13 million individuals and small businesses, with a focus on the affluent segment which encompasses Private Banking, Priority Private, Priority Banking, and Premium. In the mass retail space, we're focused on emerging affluent clients who will progress in their wealth journey with us and form the pipeline of future affluent clients.
We’re a leading wealth manager in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and our deep local presence and international network enables us to capture the strong structural tailwinds which are driving cross-border wealth flows. Our comprehensive product propositions span across deposits, payments, financing, advisory, investments and bancassurance.
We’re investing USD $1.5 billion in our Affluent banking business. Our investment focuses on affluent frontline teams, wealth and digital platforms, and client centres, as well as brand and marketing, to drive growth. You’ll join a growing franchise within Standard Chartered Group.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive and implement strategic initiatives to accelerate client acquisition and penetration in target segments.
• Foster a strong service culture, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of client journeys.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead, coach, and empower frontline and support teams. Drive performance, talent retention, and training initiatives.
• Ensure workforce planning and hiring support seamless client experience at branches and hubs.
Skills and Experience
• At least 7-8 years of overall experience in business management and retail banking.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• People leadership skills and experience in building effective teams.
• Account management experience of High-Net-Worth Individuals.
• Technical knowledge and expertise in consumer banking products.
