Financial Lines Insurance Broker

Company:

Description:

As a Financial Lines Insurance Broker based in Stockholm, you will be part of a specialized team working with Nordic clients. You will gradually take on more responsibility for advising clients and placing financial lines insurance, with strong support from experienced colleagues. The role suits someone early in their broking or insurance career who is eager to build deep expertise in financial lines and client advisory, and who enjoys taking ownership while working closely with a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business, risk profile and insurance needs.

• Advise clients on financial lines insurance solutions, such as Directors' and Officers' Liability insurance, Crime insurance and Professional Liability insurance.

• Contribute to negotiations of policy terms and pricing on behalf of clients, with increasing responsibility over time.

• Support clients through complex claims and coverage matters, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders where needed.

• Assist clients with claims and follow up with insurers.

• Contribute to business intelligence and market research to identify new clients and growth opportunities.

What You Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, economics or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus but not required.

• Native-level fluency in Swedish and strong command of English, as client communication and policy work are conducted in both languages.

• Strong communication skills and an interest in developing towards presenting to larger client groups, including senior stakeholders.

• Proven ability and motivation to learn quickly and take on new subject matter. Experience from insurance, broking or related risk and financial services roles is an advantage, but motivated junior profiles are also encouraged to apply.

• Willingness to travel occasionally on short business trips, mainly within the Nordics and to London.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• You appreciate structure and can stay calm and organized, even when the workload is uneven or when a complex client matter requires immediate attention.

• You are comfortable working independently and proactively seeking out the information and expertise needed to solve problems.

• You have a genuine interest in business, financial markets and risk, and are curious about how financial lines exposures affect organizations.

What We Offer:

• The opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from large Swedish listed companies and financial institutions to privately owned and highly specialized businesses.

• Strong development opportunities within Sweden and internationally, as part of a leading global group.

• The opportunity to be part of a successful organization and help shape the future of the insurance and risk market.

• The benefits and career opportunities that come with being part of a large, global organization.

• A collaborative culture where colleagues support each other, share knowledge and enjoy working together.
