What You'll Do
- Monitor portfolio holdings, market developments, and client activity across portfolios to generate actionable investment insights and recommendations.
- Identify investment opportunities and provide data-driven insights to support commercial teams and client engagement efforts.
- Partner with strategists, product specialists, and other internal partners to develop, evaluate, and implement investment ideas and allocation strategies.
- Develop scalable analytics and tools that translate the firm's investment views into personalized portfolio recommendations.
- Lead initiatives to enhance and automate the investment recommendation process using data analytics, quantitative methods, and artificial intelligence.
- Build dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytical frameworks that enhance portfolio oversight, investment decision-making, and client engagement at scale.
- Serve as a liaison between investment teams and commercial stakeholders, translating investment views into actionable insights, tools, and client solutions.
- Prepare investment presentations, reports, and analytical materials for commercial teams, investment committees, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in key investment governance forums, including Strategy, Model Portfolio, and Product Committees.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s or CFA preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in investment management, asset allocation, or portfolio analysis.
- Solid knowledge of portfolio construction, financial markets, risk modeling, and performance attribution.
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills; VBA and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, Morningstar, and portfolio management systems.
- Progress toward CFA designation (Level I, II, or Candidate Status).
- Understanding of alternative investments and multi-asset strategies.
- Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules and regulations, as well as Itau’s related policies and procedures.
