Position Purpose: To provide DevOps support (L1-L2) for the RISK Citizen platform. The role involves using DevOps and Kubernetes knowledge to build high-quality monitoring in Dynatrace and triage tools to ensure enterprise-level technical and business support for global users. The objective is to ensure correct risks are available in a timely manner by combining industrial operational processes with sound risk knowledge.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Understanding investment banking flows and overall business.
- Gaining a basic understanding of Market, Counterparty, and Credit Risk.
- Ensuring data integrity within the system and diagnosing/troubleshooting functional or data issues.
- Managing service transitions, including assessing readiness against service acceptance criteria and making go-live recommendations.
- Providing application and user support covering ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Problem, Change & Release management), monitoring, capacity management, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborating with team leaders, project leads, development staff, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Liaising with colleagues to obtain technical and business knowledge for quick issue resolution.
- Configuring alerting and monitoring to analyze all available sources of information.
- Ensuring the functional provision of risk systems to users on a daily basis.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Technical: 5-8 years of application support experience; proficiency in SQL (Sybase, Oracle) and Python; understanding of DevOps, Kubernetes, Cloud native, and reporting tools (Power BI); expert knowledge of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Geneos, Splunk).
- Behavioral: Ability to multi-task under pressure/tight deadlines; self-motivated with ownership; strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication; excellent problem-solving and logical thinking; innovative/out-of-the-box thinking.
Specific Qualifications:
- B.E / B. Tech or equivalent.
- Preferred: ITIL V4 Foundation certification.
- Preferred: FRM/CFA certifications.
