We are looking for a Manager, Data Solutions & Analytics to lead strategic analytics, AI, and data initiatives across the Trade business within Transaction Services.
The role sits within the Trade Analytics team and is responsible for translating business requirements into analytical solutions, delivering actionable insights, and supporting the development of data-driven products that enhance client engagement, portfolio management, business performance, and strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with Trade Product, Sales, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to deliver reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases that support the growth of the Trade franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Trade Product, Sales, Coverage, Risk, and Operations teams to identify high-value business problems and translate them into advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of analytical models and decisioning frameworks that drive client acquisition, portfolio growth, revenue optimisation, cross-sell opportunities, and risk management.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions including predictive modelling, propensity scoring, client segmentation, anomaly detection, forecasting, recommendation engines, network analytics, and early warning indicators.
- Analyse large and complex datasets from internal and external sources to uncover actionable insights and business opportunities across the Trade franchise.
- Evaluate emerging AI, machine learning, and GenAI capabilities and identify practical applications within Trade Finance and Transaction Banking.
- Work closely with Data Engineering and Technology teams to define data requirements, feature engineering strategies, model deployment processes, and monitoring frameworks.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and production-ready analytical solutions that can be scaled across products, markets, and client segments.
- Build analytical assets and reusable frameworks that accelerate delivery of future Trade Analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to measure model performance, track business outcomes, and continuously improve analytical solutions.
- Develop intuitive dashboards and visualisation tools that enable business users to consume and act upon analytical insights.
- Ensure analytical solutions adhere to model governance, data governance, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Support the development of the Trade Analytics roadmap by identifying innovative use cases that create measurable commercial impact.

Qualifications
Education
• University Degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science, engineering or analytical discipline, e.g. mathematics, statistics, IT, economics, finance, accounting.
• Minimum 4+ years working experience in data Science domain in financial service
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
