Job Description
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Support the daily operations of a busy wealth management practice
- Prepare and process new account paperwork and account maintenance requests
- Assist with money movement transactions and service-related requests
- Coordinate with custodians, wholesalers, clients, and internal business partners to facilitate requests and resolve issues
- Manage inbound and outbound client communications via phone and email
- Monitor account activity and follow up on outstanding items
- Assist advisors with client meeting preparation and follow-up activities
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Research and resolve operational and service-related inquiries
- Utilize technology and firm systems to improve efficiency and enhance the client experience
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment while ensuring a high level of service excellence
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in client service, operations, administration, banking, financial services, or a related field
- Exposure to investment, retirement, wealth management, or brokerage environments preferred
- Understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Professional presence and commitment to confidentiality
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience supporting financial advisors or wealth management teams
- Industry registrations or financial services experience
- Experience processing account opening, transfers, money movement, or client service activities
Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience in the financial services industry
