THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

CIB is looking for a SSA DCM Analyst based out of Madrid.

As a SSA DCM Analyst, you will be an integral part of a growing franchise covering both domestic and international public sector clients, facilitating their access to global capital markets.

We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting and assuming direct coverage of Santander’s SSA issuance client base
• Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials across various mediums
• Working directly with the Madrid, London, and NY-based DCM teams
• Collaborating with Syndicate, Sales and trading, Risk Solutions Group, Strategy, and other stakeholders across the global platform
• Co-ordinating analysis of the core markets in which we operate (predominantly EUR, USD, GBP, LATAM) and presenting ideas to clients
• Identifying appropriate funding solutions for Santander’s SSA issuance client base

Professional Experience

• Ideally up to three years of experience covering the European and/or Global SSA clientbase

Education

• University degree level

Languages

• Fluency of English and fluency/working knowledge of Spanish is essential
• Fluency in French and/or German highly beneficial

Hard Skills

• Fluency of English and fluency/working knowledge of Spanish is essential
