As a Home Office Leader in E&S Casualty, you will be responsible for the overall performance and management of the E&S Casualty portfolio. You will will oversee and manage the existing portfolio by working closely with Head of Casualty, and underwriting team to ensure we are writing well structured business within our  target portfolio. This role will work closely with supporting business functions to maintain a profitable portfolio while keeping a balanced focus on production. Additionally, you will work with E&S Casualty leadership to develop and maintain underwriting guidelines, authority levels, and processes to help achieve AXA XL’s target portfolio.

As part of your role, you will help lead multidisciplinary business review and feedback sessions in partnership with actuarial, claims, underwriting, legal, and other teams to ensure financial and operational targets are met. This role will also involve developing elite E&S Casualty underwriters by identifying training and knowledge gaps and creating plans to address them.

You will report to the Head of E&S Casualty. Additionally, you will work closely with the Head of E&S Product and the rest of E&S Leadership.

Applicants for this role must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 132,200 – 257,100. 

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
