Inthe next couple of years, UniCredit is investing in building technology platforms at a group level.As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) processes. Beresponsible for tools configuration, integration, and monitoring. Participate in analysis and integration of innovative solutions aiming optimization ortasks automation. Understand the needs of stakeholders to streamline the development and deployment of applications.
What you'll be doing
- Configure, integrate and monitor Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
- Analyze, develop and integrate innovative solutions aiming in optimization of the processes or tasks automation
- Understand needs of stakeholders' to optimize developer experience
- End-to-end support users going through the configuration of DevOps pipelines
- Solve and debug issues across DevOps pipelines
- Write technical documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong hands-on expertise in building, deploying, and operating Kubernetes-based workloads better if confirmed by certificates like Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Proven experience applying best practices for cloud-native application development, including:
- Designing and operating containerized applications
- Working with microservices architectures
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
- Observability, resilience, scalability, and security by design
- Experience with major cloud platforms is a strong plus
- Solid experience in scripting and automation using one or more of the following languages:
- Bash / Shell scripting for system automation and operational tasks
- Groovy for CI/CD pipeline development (e.g., Jenkins)
- Python for automation, tooling, and integrations
- Go for cloud-native tooling, platform components, or Kubernetes operators
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and reliability
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work closely with development, security, and operations teams
- Passion for continuous improvement and staying current with DevOps and cloud-native trends
- English fluency (speaking and writing)
- Nice to have:
- Test automation best practices like E2E test frameworks: Selenium, Cypress etc.
