Job ID 92336 Company Unicredit S.p.A. - Romania Branch Competence Line Digital Country Romania Job Type Professional Functional area Digital & Data Working time model Full-time Contact alexandra.popescu2@unicredit.eu, usrecruitingit@unicredit.euWe are currently seeking an experienced Digital Product Specialist – SAP HCM to support People & Culture (P&C) processes in Germany, with a strong focus on Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Interfaces. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for the stability, compliance, and continuous optimization of the SAP HCM PA/OM and the associated integration landscape, operating both local and global environments.
You will act as the key technical authority and trusted partner to P&C stakeholders, ensuring compliant, efficient, and well-integrated core HR processes.
What you'll be doing
- Act as the primary technical owner and referent for SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) for Germany.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the HR interface landscape, including:
- Integration with internal and external systems like Finance, identity and access management, global P&C systems and Bafin
- Monitoring, error analysis, and coordination of incident resolution
- Data consistency, reconciliation, and interface documentation
- Serve as a key liaison between P&C business referents and IT, translating business requirements into sustainable technical solutions and advising on best practices.
- Manage regular and ad-hoc operational activities, including:
- Employee lifecycle processes (hire, change, transfer, termination)
- Organizational structure maintenance and governance
- Implementation and testing of legal change packages, HR support packages, and SAP Notes relevant to PA/OM
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance, especially related to GDPR and audit requirements.
- Own incident and problem management for PA, OM, and interfaces, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation.
- Collaborate closely with SAP Basis, integration, and downstream system teams to proactively monitor system performance and interface stability.
What you'll need to succeed
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM on premise (ECC 6.0, EHP8) in complex environments.
- Senior Expertise in Personnel Administration (PA):
- Employee master data and infotypes, including company-specific enhancements/custom-tables
- Personal actions and workflows
- Data Governance and authorization concepts
- Organizational Management (OM): Organizational structures, jobs, positions, and relationships, including company-specific enhancements, Structural authorizations/roles
- Interfaces and Integrations (inbound/outbound)
- IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, file-based and middleware-driven interfaces
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and reconciliation of HR data flows
- Development Skills: Advance SAP HCM Customizing in PA and OM, ABAP development, incl. ABAP Objects, Experience with Notes implementation and SPAU/SPDD adjustments
- Deep understanding of European/German data protection directives (GDPR) and experience with SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) to ensure GDRR-compliant data retention & deletion
- Language & Communication
- German C1 – essential for legal interpretation, SAP documentation, and stakeholder workshops
- English B2 – essential for legal interpretation, SAP documentation, and stakeholder workshops
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
