Your role

In this role, you will:
- Own and manage strategic Prime Financing client relationships across Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Family Offices and other institutional clients throughout their lifecycle.
- Drive client growth and revenue generation by increasing wallet share, supporting new fund launches, new market expansion and broader product adoption.
- Act as the trusted client advisor and primary escalation point, delivering seamless front‑to‑back client experience across Financing and Prime Brokerage.
- Develop tailored financing and capital‑efficient solutions by understanding clients' investment strategies, portfolios and financing requirements.
- Manage client profitability and balance sheet efficiency, optimizing returns, resource utilization and business economics.
- Own client risk management, proactively identifying, escalating and addressing credit, market, operational and financing‑related risks.
- Drive platform innovation and collaboration, working across Sales, Trading, Risk, Operations, Technology and Product teams to enhance products, processes and client outcomes.

You will be part of the Global Markets Financing business, working closely with Franchise sales, Capital Markets Financing Sales, Trading, Risk Management, Operations, Technology, Product Development, Transition Management and Institutional Client Lifecycle Services teams.
The Prime Financing Relationship Manager acts as the central coordinator and commercial owner of the client relationship, balancing client needs, risk management and profitability objectives while delivering the full UBS franchise.
Your expertise
- Preferably 7+ years’ work experience in an investment bank/hedge funds/client management role.
- Strong Prime Financing, market/product knowledge, with experience across Prime Brokerage, Financing, Equities, Securities Lending, Derivatives and institutional client coverage.
- Good understanding of hedge funds and asset managers including their financing, operational and risk management requirements.
- Commercially focused with strong analytical skills, able to drive revenue growth, client profitability and balance sheet optimization.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong risk awareness and problem‑solving capability, with sound judgment in managing complex client situations, regulatory considerations and operational challenges.
- Enthusiastic, a self‑starter demonstrating initiative and the ability to handle pressure.
- You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
