Your role
Do you have a strong attention to detail that enables robust accounting oversight and sound risk governance? Do you thrive in cross‑functional and multi‑regional environments? Are you a diligent, process‑driven professional with deep fund accounting expertise?
We are looking for a Fund Accountant who will play a key role in overseeing Taiwan fund accounting activities and contributing to regional initiatives.
The successful candidate will:
- • Represent Taiwan Fund Accounting at both local and regional levels, and contribute to cross functional and cross regional projects
- • Support and oversee fund accounting–related regulatory reporting
- • Apply strong technical expertise in NAV calculation and valuation
- • Demonstrate a strong risk and control mindset in overseeing fund administration vendors
- • Coordinate fund financial statement audits with external auditors
- • Manage trade processing, settlement, and related controls, working closely with front and middle offices to resolve trade discrepancies and mitigate operational risks
- • Act as a key point of contact for external clients and internal stakeholders, responding to fund accounting–related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- • Ensure all control processes and procedures (e.g., reconciliations, payments) comply with UBS standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- • Support and manage fund life‑cycle events, including (but not limited to) fund launches, mergers, liquidations, and fund maturities
- • Design and deliver customized reports to meet client and business requirements
- • Provide support for APAC cross‑regional initiatives and tasks as required

Your expertise
- • a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- • 5 to 10 years of experience in fund accounting and/or relevant functions
- • proven ability to handle multiple priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic environment
- • Ssrong communication skills and a collaborative, team oriented mindset
- • excellent analytical skills with sound judgment and logical thinking
- • advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- • fluency in English, both written and spoken
