The integration between Credit Suisse (CS) and UBS is a key strategic initiative and represents one of the main challenges for the CS teams being integrated into the UBS ecosystem. This role plays an important part in supporting that transformation.
In this role, you will:
- • Maintain and support existing applications
- • Enhance and continuously improve current systems
- • Reinforce and promote code quality and best practices
- • Contribute to the definition and evolution of coding standards
- • Discuss topics with global teams, understanding and translating technical requirements for the local team
- • Propose technical designs and implementations to improve system performance and data flow
- • Partner with other IT teams to enable and drive new solutions and architectures

Your team
You will be part of the IT Brazil team, based in São Paulo (Ave Faria Lima), working within the IT Brazil Risk team alongside highly skilled professionals.
The team is responsible for calculating prices, PnL (profit and loss), and risk metrics for local business areas. To achieve this, the Risk team relies on a distributed processing solution capable of handling high volume calculations and continuously updating portfolios throughout the trading day.
The team’s core systems are developed in C# and use relational databases for data storage.

Your expertise
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Analysis, or a related field
- • 5+ years of proven experience working with systems based on object oriented programming (preferably .NET)
- • Strong affinity with mathematics and analytical problem solving
- • Experience working with microservices architectures
- • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions
- • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams
- • English proficiency at B2 level
- • Portuguese proficiency at C1 level
- • you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
