Your role
Are you interested in learning about the banking industry and capital markets, and how legal teams support business decisions? Do you have an eye for details?
We’re looking for an intern to:
- assist on the legal coverage for Multi Family Office and Private Banking business;
- draft letters and notices to clients and regulatory bodies;
- interact with other departments across the bank, including teams located in other jurisdictions, to understand and bring solutions to legal demands;
- provide administrative support by handling internal legal requests and assisting the legal team with day-to-day operations and tasks;
- assist on the review of service agreements, contractual amendments, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with current regulations and searching for legal theory and case law in the areas of financial and capital markets;
- prepare presentations, memos and internal reports;
- track deadlines, filings and document workflows to ensure timely follow-up.

Your team
You’ll be part of the UBS Legal team in São Paulo, Brazil, supporting the Wealth Management division. We work closely with business and legal colleagues across regions to deliver practical, high-quality legal advice and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Your expertise
- students of Law with graduation by Dec/2028 or later;
- ideally advanced English and fluent Portuguese;
- availability to work onsite in Sao Paulo's office 6 hours per day/30 hours per week;
- good communication skills, analytical capability, and dedication to learning;
- good writing and text interpretation skills;
- strong interpersonal relationship skills and teamwork abilities, with flexibility to handle diverse demands;
- knowledge in Microsoft 365 package, especially Word;
- you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
