Senior Investment Consultant position in Singapore focused on portfolio strategy, client advisory, and AI-enabled solutions.
Lead portfolio construction, trade execution, and mentorship within UBS’s global wealth management team.
Your role
Do you have the ability to provide holistic investment advice in a portfolio context? Do you have expertise across a range of asset classes and markets? Do you want to maximize the benefits of a global franchise for the good of clients? Do you have proven track record advising clients in advisory portfolios across bespoke instruments?
We are looking for Investment Consultants (IC) to:
- partner closely with Client Advisers (CAs) to deliver holistic, client‑centric investment advice.
- drive portfolio construction and asset allocation by proactively engaging clients with timely portfolio updates, conducting regular reviews, and aligning portfolios with Chief Investment Office (CIO) views while considering clients’ risk profiles and investment preferences.
- ensure adherence to investment suitability requirements prior to recommendations, execute trades in a timely and accurate manner, and provide ongoing post‑trade portfolio monitoring.
- collaborate with the CIO and investment product teams to deliver UBS’s full suite of investment products and trading capabilities to clients.
- contribute to product idea generation and solution development by participating in internal discussions, sharing investment ideas, and enhancing market knowledge and product‑pitching capabilities.
- mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and knowledge sharing within the team.

You will be working as part of Wealth Management APAC in Advisory & Sales as an Investment Consultant based in Singapore. The Investment Consultant team is a multi‑asset, sales and advisory team. The team is responsible for bringing CIO‑aligned investment solutions in a timely manner to clients. We are a dynamic team and enjoy working to provide best‑in‑class solutions for our clients.
Your expertise
- at least 10 years of experience in portfolio management, investment management, sales and trading
- specialization in at least one asset class or product type, such as Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Structured Products / Derivatives and Alternatives
- possess a strong drive, initiative, adaptable and be able to work independently in a stressful and demanding environment.
- proven presentation skills in front of clients and Client Advisers, and strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients. ( Family offices or Ultra(HNW))
- sales and service oriented with excellent communication skill
- advanced degree in the area of finance. CFA certification is a plus
- fluent in English and business Mandarin, while other languages are a plus
- this is a demanding role due to the complexity and high volume of the business. Perseverance and drive are key attributes to be successful in the role.
