Your role
We’re looking for a credit risk analyst to:
- control the bank’s credit risk ensuring high quality credit risk assessment and continuous monitoring of the portfolio of counterparties/issues.
- implement the Credit Risk Control framework (principles, policies, processes and authorities) through day-to-day activities and process and system enhancements.
- take a broad view of the risks and help ensure that material issues are escalated to the relevant control functions and reputational concerns are escalated to senior management

Your team
You’ll be working in the Lombard Flow Credit Risk Control team in Japan and play a vital role in independently reviewing and monitoring transaction risks within the wealth management clients of Japan. As a credit risk officer, you’ll serve as second line of defense and challenge all credit risks associated with the origination, distribution and retained portfolios of wealth management business.
We are a part of Global Risk Control and work closely with colleagues from global locations while supporting WM credit business locally

Your expertise
- University degree in Finance/Economics or a technical subject (such as Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics etc.)
- advantage if you have experience in credit risk analysis, focusing on corporate or institutional credit within a top tier banking institution or a ratings agency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Self-starter and collaborator
- Knowledge or Excel, Tableau, programming skills such as VBA and any other programming skills are also an advantage.
