As a Senior IT Auditor
you will independently plan and perform risk-based IT audits across flatexDEGIRO. You will evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, systems and processes, identify areas for improvement and provide practical recommendations that strengthen our risk management, governance and internal control environment. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders and support the continuous development of our IT audit approach.
This is what you’ll do:
- Independently plan and conduct risk-based IT audits and special audits across different organizational units within the Group.
- Assess IT systems, infrastructure, processes and internal controls for effectiveness, appropriateness, security and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare clear audit reports in English, for addressing identified deficiencies.
- Present audit results to senior stakeholders, agree on appropriate remediation measures and monitor their implementation through follow‑up activities.
- Support major IT projects from an audit perspective and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, processes and standards.
You’ll bring us these skills:
- A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in IT audit, preferably within banking, financial services, consulting or an audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of IT audit frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27000, ISACA, IIA or comparable standards.
- Good understanding of IT governance, internal controls, risk management and relevant regulatory requirements, ideally including MaRisk, DORA and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with independence, integrity, diplomacy and very good English.
