Intermonte is a part of Banca Generali Group, a private banking group, able to offer its customers the best strategies for effective financial planning and in the protection of clients through a network of private consultants at the top of the sector in terms of skills and expertise/professionalism.
The desk intermediates Italian and international equity securities on behalf of clients (asset management companies, family offices, treasury departments, pension funds, and foundations) as well as for the firm’s proprietary activities.
The desk also executes arbitrage transactions for clients arising from corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, tender offers, rights issues, restructurings, and similar events.
The team benefits from extensive industry expertise and advanced technological tools specifically designed to support its activities.
Strong interest in financial markets, trading activities, and capital markets
Basic knowledge of equities, bonds, ETFs, derivatives, and financial instruments
Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market data and investment information
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite
Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is considered a plus
Previous exposure to financial markets through academic projects, student associations, internships, personal investing, or relevant certifications (e.g., Bloomberg Market Concepts) will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Python, VBA, or other financial data analysis tools is a plus
