Job Description
As Hong Kong rapidly evolves into a leading hub for Commercial Money Movements (CMS), digital assets, and stablecoin innovation, Visa is accelerating investments in next-generation payment solutions and advisory capabilities to support clients navigating this transformation.
With increasing adoption of tokenized payments, cross-border liquidity solutions, AI-enabled financial services, and fintech partnerships, Visa is expanding its consulting leadership to help clients capture these emerging opportunities.
Team Summary
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, delivering tangible and impactful results for clients.
VCA combines strategy consulting, data analytics, digital, and economic expertise to solve complex client challenges and enable growth.
This role will sit at the intersection of Core Consulting (CMS / Payments Strategy), Digital Innovation (AI, Fintech, Data), and Emerging Payments (Stablecoin / Digital Assets).
What a Director, Client Consulting does at Visa
Hong Kong is experiencing accelerated growth as a regional digital finance hub, driven by CMS expansion, stablecoin regulatory momentum, AI adoption, and fintech ecosystem growth.
Visa is seeking a Director to lead client engagement and sales development, build new consulting propositions, and act as a thought leader in next-generation payments.
Specific Responsibilities
- • Lead sales engagement across Hong Kong clients in CMS, stablecoin, AI, and fintech domains
- • Build and manage consulting pipeline and drive revenue growth
- • Develop new consulting offerings in CMS, digital assets, AI, and fintech innovation
- • Lead complex consulting engagements and deliver executive-level insights
- • Collaborate across Visa product, risk, and innovation teams
- • Drive thought leadership and represent Visa externally
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in consulting, banking, payments, fintech, or related financial services industries
- Strong client engagement and sales experience, with proven ability to originate and close consulting engagements
- Solid understanding of financial services landscape, including payments, CMS, or digital assets
- Strong understanding of web 3 & stablecoin ecosystem, regulations & business environment
What will also help:
- Strong financial services background with expertise in CMS, payments, cross-border, or digital assets
- Demonstrated ability to translate AI insights into business impact, including applying AI/analytics to solve client problems and drive decision-making
- Experience with AI-driven use cases in financial services (e.g., risk, personalization, automation)
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
- Proven structured problem-solving and storytelling capability
- Experience in Hong Kong or APAC preferred
- Highly collaborative and results-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
