Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, large-scale, multi-team initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong expertise in Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python, with extensive experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-native technologies, containerized applications, and modern software architecture
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security best practices
- Proven ability to influence technical strategy, lead organizational change, mentor engineering teams, and drive cross-functional alignment
- Demonstrated commitment to engineering excellence through testing, observability, system health monitoring, and continuous improvement practices
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term technical strategies that align engineering investments with business objectives and customer outcomes
- Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, mission-critical software systems across multiple teams
- Drive architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and organizational alignment through strong technical leadership
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while balancing immediate business needs with long-term platform sustainability
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to ensure technology investments maximize customer value
