About this role:

Wells Fargo Bank International (WFBI) is seeking a Credit Portfolio Consultant to join our Dublin-based Risk team. This is an exciting opportunity for a credit professional looking to expand their expertise across multiple lines of business, industries, and European markets while building a long-term career within a leading global financial institution.

Based in Dublin, WFBI serves clients across the European Union and European Economic Area, offering exposure to a diverse range of customers, products, and jurisdictions. In this role, you will work closely with Credit, Banking, Risk, and senior leadership teams, providing independent credit risk analysis and oversight across portfolios spanning Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and Capital Finance.

You will evaluate credit proposals, support Credit Committee recommendations, and contribute to sound credit decision-making within the Credit Decisioning Framework and Delegated Approval Authority. In addition, you will monitor portfolio exposures and help ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's risk appetite, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a credit professional to broaden their expertise across multiple business lines, industries, and European markets. Working closely with experienced risk professionals and senior stakeholders, you will gain exposure to complex credit transactions, cross-border business activities, and diverse portfolios while deepening your credit risk knowledge, analytical capabilities, and commercial judgment.
