As a Summer Analyst in the Commercial & Investment Bank Research team, you will be part of a dynamic team helping to solve a range of challenging and interesting business issues and will be challenged in your work. Our Global Markets teams are active in all major financial markets and develop sophisticated financial solutions to help clients manage risk, increase returns and solve complex financial problems.
The program is an opportunity to take your career to the next level through hands-on experience, relevant skills training and valuable professional networking. Based on your individual achievements, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment.
Job responsibilities
Modeling financial statements and industry dynamics
Performing detailed valuation work
Assessing relevant news events
Analyzing complex data sets
Writing research notes, sector pieces, industry and market overviews
Advising internal and external clients, corporates and management teams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Expected graduation date of September 2027 – July 2028 from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
If pursuing a Master’s Degree, it must be completed within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent analytical, quantitative (algebra, statistics, probability), and interpretative skills
Exceptional writing skills
Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends
Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
We’re a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required.
Fluency in Mandarin is required as you will focus on client engagement and business development for the desks covering the Taiwan market.
To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in Taiwan. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
