- Manage a Documentation / Electronic production team covering Interest rates, Credit derivatives and FX products.
- Oversee the matching of electronic trades
- Ensure the execution of paper and electronic confirmations for corporate, institutional and inter-bank clients within Mexican, Dodd Frank and EMIR regulatory timeframes.
- Develop and maintain good relationship with external clients in order that outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain excellent working relation with other internal clients such as Legal, Marketers, Trading, Middle Office, and Back Offices.
- Liaise with Legal Department to agree upon acceptable language for documentation.
- Deal with and quickly resolve escalated and aged queries for complex trades, process specificities or new clients.
- Ensure an appropriate analysis and escalation of issues to senior management.
- Take part in the resolution of operational issues and the realization of various sector related projects.
- Ensure the appropriate trainings are assigned to the team and the mandatory trainings are completed within delays.
- Make sure that the procedures are up to date, published within delays and applied and that the operational risk awareness of each team member is kept at highest level.
Statistics and Metrics follow-up
- Daily control and analysis of the production: unmatched / non-executed trades, chasing, drafting.
- Release weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management
- Review the existing indicators on a regular basis and suggest new ones when required
IT developments follow up
- Escalate as soon as possible the potential technical issues that could put the production at risk, impacting productivity, operational risk or client satisfaction.
- Identify and evaluate the systems development’s needs. Take part in the ROI evaluation and follow up on prioritization.
- Take part in the team’s projects (validate specification, perform tests, …)
Management
- Set the annual objectives for each team member, lead the annual appraisal interview.
- Make sure the team members are fully trained on their respective areas.
- Maintain a high level of cross training by proposing a solid and sustainable cross training plan
Competences and Experience
TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Min 3+ year experience in the FX & derivative industry, especially in an electronic and documentation environment
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the mechanics of the following products: FX, Interests rates and Credit derivatives
- Extensive experience processing FX electronic or interest rate and credit transactions.
- Good knowledge of the mechanics of SWIFT messaging
- Management experience recommended

- Strong Microsoft Office skills a plus
