For the Product team focusing on new applications, we are looking for a software engineer who will work in a rapidly evolving technical environment.
In your role, you are responsible for translating internal clients' needs into working applications. From defining the application architecture to implementing and testing the application. You work together with our Belgian and other international colleagues. Working in close cooperation of ICT and Business and high (internal) customer satisfaction is an absolute team goal!

You will follow a bootcamp training to get you familiarised with the technology and tools we use. You will join a team of motivated colleagues who will be more than happy to support you when you take on this role.

Other skills
- You have experience of working in an Agile context.
- Experience of working within a SAFe context is an (additional) advantage.
- Affinity with working within a highly regulated environment (financial sector) is an advantage.
- Given the context in a financial institution, affinity with and focus on security aspects is absolutely essential.
- You communicate effectively English (Dutch is a plus).
- You show a high degree of initiative and independence when you work on assignments and solve problems. You talk to business colleagues at an early stage in the process to clear up any uncertain aspects of the requirements and, if necessary, you help business colleagues to define their needs and requirements clearly. You can quickly familiarise yourself with complex issues.
- You are a good team player, and you have good communication and social skills. You have an eye for quality and a healthy dose of pragmatism and creativity. You like working together with peer colleagues.
