What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst/Manager, you will support the ongoing development and implementation of Macquarie’s geopolitical risk framework, helping establish and maintain Macquarie’s approach for identifying, monitoring and managing geopolitical risk. You will provide insight and risk assessment to support the strategic decision-making, prudential risk management, financial and operational resilience, political risk and crisis preparedness activities across a range of businesses. 
You will work closely with stakeholders to review and advise on regulatory considerations for geopolitical risk, assess potential impacts across financial and non-financial risk categories to ensure it is in line with Macquarie's risk appetite and framework requirements. This includes operational, conduct, technology, cyber, compliance, financial crime, liquidity, market and reputational risks, supporting both effective risk management and the regulatory compliance expectations. 
You will contribute to discussions on prudential compliance, while supporting engagements with the banking regulator, including reviews and information requests. In addition, you will monitor regulatory developments and industry practices, and help maintain policies, frameworks and documentation that support ongoing compliance.
