Fund Offering is the Bank’s competence center for funds across all strategies and asset classes. The traditional funds team is responsible for all recommendations across active and passive long only funds in liquid (UCITS) formats. The team provides services to internal advisory and discretionary clients globally.PRINCIPALES FUNCIONES
- Responsibility for the analysis, recommendation and monitoring of managers/funds for Julius Baer’s clients
- Focus on traditional, long only equity funds / manager selection
- Content production for recommended funds as well as quality management of fund offering outputs
- Support the promotion and the positioning of funds under your coverage within the bank
- Active support in fund inquiries, education and fund initiatives
- Ensuring of fund data and document gathering as well as processing within the bank
- Pipeline management and development of new product ideas through exchange with internal stakeholders and own ideas
YOUR PROFILE
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in fund / manager selection and monitoring
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a technical background in fund due diligence
- In-depth know-how of analytical tools and systems for funds (Morningstar, Bloomberg, Style Research or similar) a must
- High standards of quality and accuracy with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Entrepreneurship, being flexible and motivated to work in a dynamic team within a very dynamic environment
- Thorough knowledge of the financial industry and the fund industry
- University degree in a relevant area such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics or similar
- Fluency in English is a must, other languages are a plus
- Expert level of MS-Excel usage
- In depth technical knowledge of Morningstar (including advanced Presentation Studio and Notebook functionalities) and programming / quant skills in VBA / R / Matlab or similar an advantage
