Job Description

Purpose of the role

To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.

Embark on an exciting career journey with Barclays as a Business Controls Officer (BCO) – Liquid Financing and play a pivotal role in delivering risk and control excellence within our Hong Kong team. This role sits within the first line of defence, and offers the chance to work closely with business leaders and support teams to enhance and maintain a comprehensive controls framework for the Liquid Financing business. As a part of the Chief Controls Office, this role will contribute to the execution of the controls agenda, support effective risk management practices, and partner with the wider APAC Business Controls Office team to oversee key risk areas. The successful candidate will also help drive business control initiatives, regulatory change initiatives, coordinate audit engagements, and provide control advisory support to senior stakeholders.
