Java developer with UC4 knowledge (m/f/diverse)

We are seeking a Java developer with at least 3 years of proffesional experience and good understanding of Automic Automation / UC4 to join our Finance Development team in Prague.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated workflows and job schedules using Java and Automic Automation / UC4, ensuring efficient and reliable process execution across finance applications like the Bank’s Finance and Risk DataWareHouse (FRDWH) as well as SAP environments.
Your tasks
- Design, implement and optimize Java code as the primary development task, ensuring scalability, maintainability and performance.
- Contribute to the overall UC4 job scheduling landscape by applying Automic Automation (UC4) as well as scripting technologies (Automic Script, Unix Shell, Perl, Windows Batch) where required.
- Drive the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis, technical design and coding through to testing and deployment.
- Provide support to the operations team in analyzing and troubleshooting automation issues across Unix, SAP and Automic environments.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient automation solutions.
Your Profile
- Sound knowledge and experience in MsAccess, VBA programming and JAVA programming.
- Experience with scripting.
- Experience with Automic software (formerly UC4) or willingness to learn it.
- Working experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, including additional scripting and Job scheduling frameworks.
- Sound knowledge and experience with test design and implementation.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work in international and agile environment.
