We are currently hiring Technical Accounting Intern based in Malaysian Branch to support Technical Accountant team on the operations and automation tasks.
You can look forward to
- Supporting Property and Casualty Technical Accounting operations.
- Facilitating the processing of Non-Proportional and Facultative Claims.
- Managing facultative premium closings.
- Driving efficiency through automation by supporting data processing and automation tasks.
- Supporting in ad-hoc tasks as needed.
You come equipped with
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or related fields are required.
- A basic understanding of insurance/ reinsurance industry would be a plus.
- Basic knowledge in SAP, VBA and Microsoft Excel are preferred and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work and PowerPoint) is encouraged.
- Strong administrative abilities, meticulous and detailed-oriented and a track record of relevant extracurricular activities.
- You must have strong analytical and precision skills, be resourceful and can work effectively in a team.
- Good time management and multitasking abilities, be proactive and quick-thinking, and be able to keep confidential information secure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders will be required.
