Provide compliance advice, briefings, recommendations and reports on material compliance risks and issues to business, country, and functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Assist in developing policies and standards for the terms on which business is conducted and for processes required to manage compliance risk arising during business.
• Assist in doing the internal management of the compliance department and business compliance officer.
• Assist in keeping a good communication with local regulatory and group related stakeholder.
• Doing well all kinds of compliance tasks which include compliance check/compliance. review/compliance training/compliance adviser etc. various institutional investors and establish and strengthen long term cooperative relationships.
• Ensure appropriate compliance resources, skills, and capabilities to review and monitor the compliance technology system.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Skills and Experience
• Experience in securities company IT audit and IT compliance management
• Writing & Speaking in English
Qualifications
• Bachelor or above
• SAC membership/qualification
• Languanges: Chinese & English
