Senior Application Manager, Vice President

Who we are looking for
We are seeking a senior application lead, Vice President to lead advanced Markets Reg Reporting solution development. This is a hands-on development role focusing on turning a business need into practical, scalable solutions that meet all regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of application solutions, from problem framing and solution designing to deployment and monitoring. You will partner with business, global teams to deliver measurable, production-level outcomes.
What you will be responsible for
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions to meet business and regulation requirements.
- Transform the way how we work with new tools/ideas.
- Partner with business, engineering, data, and governance teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and explainable solutions.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices in experimentation, validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience in enterprise application development (Java) and production delivery & support.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming, with strong experience in Python programming.
- Familiar with SDLC process (waterfall, Agile) and CICD tools (Git, Jfrog, DevOps etc).
- Hands-on experience in Databricks and public cloud (AWS or Azure).
- Strong leadership & management capability with proven stories.
- Experience in GenAI adoption in SDLC and business use cases.
- Strong communication & presentation skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to present complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in banking or related industry is a plus.
