Description

The candidate will be a member of the Chase Auto Corporate Development Finance deal team, responsible for modeling deal economics with major auto producers and co-leading negotiations. The Private Label Captive Finance team serves as a planning and analytical resource to help executives manage, forecast, plan, and assess business profitability and new opportunities. We use financial data and recommendations to influence the Auto Leadership Team on the direction to pursue. This includes upside sensitivities showing projected profit if deals perform as expected, as well as downside risk sizing for potential “black swan” events such as economic hardship or car maker specific challenges. We also analyze emerging technologies to identify defensive and offensive opportunities and use these insights to help drive new strategies within Chase Auto.

As an Associate Financial Analysis in the Chase Auto Corporate Development Finance Deal Team, you will evaluate partnership opportunities and support negotiations by modeling economics, risks, and returns. You will help leaders understand expected profitability, key sensitivities, and potential downside outcomes under adverse scenarios. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Pricing, Business, and Credit to align assumptions and translate analysis into decisions. You will communicate findings through executive-ready materials that are clear, concise, and actionable.

You will contribute to business cases that span volume growth, revenue, expenses, and credit losses. You will analyze performance and portfolio trends to inform forecasts and opportunity sizing. You will also support strategic assessments of emerging technologies and market shifts such as identifying opportunities that protect existing business and unlock new sources of revenue. You will operate in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, ownership, and well-supported points of view.
