ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Credit Risk and Portfolio ManagementPerforming detailed annual/semi-annual/quarterly credit reviewsPrepare and process waivers and amendments to loan documentationAnalyse historical financial statementsReport on the construction progress or operating performance of the assets financedRun sensitivity analysis on financial forecasts and modelsIdentify industry trendsAssess country, market and environmental riskLiaise with other departments within the bank (front office, back office, credit risk etc.) as well as external contacts (borrowers, other banks, advisers ie legal, technical, valuers and insurance.)Culture and Conduct, Compliance By identifying and managing conduct risks and incidents and systematically processing their root causes, so as to prevent them happening in the futureBy ensuring that deadlines (including for mandatory trainings, controls performance or regulatory recommendations) are met and that mandatory tasks are of high qualityBy adhering to GLBA and compliance policies and procedures, and when interacting with external partners/vendors, customers, and colleagues Profile requiredProfile Requirements:Studies & experience:Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Economics/AccountingPrevious experience in the energy and power, metals and mining, infrastructure and real estate sectors /or exposure to credit analysis would be highly appreciatedLanguage skills:Fluent in EnglishTechnical, operational & Soft skills:Proficient/Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Highly developed written and oral communication skillsAdvanced analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent understanding of accounting concepts, financial statements, cashflows, and corporate finance valuationExperience in looking at financial statements to perform in-depth company analysis/valuationSelf-motivation with a strong work ethic and ability to function independently as well as part of a teamThe ability and willingness to prioritize effectively and work on multiple projects with competing deadlinesThe candidate should be reliable, quality-oriented, and able to excel in fast-paced, pressure-oriented environmentsExcellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills will be the keys to success in this roleExcellent interpersonal skills and strong desire to learn from senior member of the teamDemonstrates reliability, thoroughness, and timeliness while completing assignments, adheres to deadlines, and communicates effectively when questions ariseBehavioral SkillsClient - Client focus: I nurture a long-term relationship with the clients/internal partnersClient - Risk/Vigilance: I seek out the greatest benefit for clients/internal partners while ensuring that the Group’s risks are properly managed Team Spirit - Open mindset/Respect: I listen and share my views and my expertise in an open modeResponsibility - Courage: I express my convictions and make decisions with courage in line with the Group's strategyInnovation - Thinking out of the box/Creativity: I encourage and demonstrate positive out of the box thinkingTeam Spirit - Open mindset/Respect: I listen and share my views and my expertise in an open mode Why join usBusiness insightOur Culture:At Societe Generale, we live by our 4 core values of commitment, responsibility, team spirit and innovation.
