Supervisor (Plant)

In this role you will be responsible for:
. Supervise the entire plant department.
. Continuously check the plant equipment and report deviations to the Metallurgical coordinator & engineering
team.
. Ensure all material needed for production is timely ordered and available.
. Ensure everything is safe before plant start-up.
. Ensure maintenance on cyclones segments.
. Conduct over-inspection on all listed items during maintenance.
. Ensure that the plant product meets the client specification.
. Monitor compliance on taking of production samples.
. Ensure that the plan produces a quality saleable product.
. Report all functions to the Metallurgical Coordinator daily.
. Communicate any quality concerns with the laboratory team and take the necessary action to rectify problems.
. Communicate all production plan and updates.
. Continuously train staff on life-saving behaviours and fatal hazard protocols.
About you:
. Grade 12
. National Diploma in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering will be advantageous.
. Computer literacy (Ms Office).
. Legal Liability certificate will be advantageous.
. A minimum of three (3) years plant experience will be advantageous.
. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
. Medically Fit to at heights & in confined spaces.
