Job Description
Purpose of the role
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Manage a complex portfolio of large corporate syndicated loans, handling day to day processing of all stages from submission to drawdown, reconciliation and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
Provide expert guidance and technical input to colleagues, leadership, and clients on lending transactions, quality assurance, and resolution of escalated issues.
Drive continuous process improvements and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate client fund payments.
Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for process, procedural, and change queries within EMEA teams, ensuring up-to-date documentation and audit readiness.
Desirable Skill Sets:
Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Should have prior experience in wholesale lending.
