Job Description
Visa is looking for a results-driven Sr. Account Support Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for defining account strategies and aligning the necessary resources to deliver your account plans, while building strong client relationships. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships and a relentless drive to excel in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of account plans for a portfolio of issuer clients, driving growth, upselling and cross-selling of Visa Value Added Services
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business priorities and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- • Support key sales motions across different sales and support functions (Specialist Sellers, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, etc.)
- Analyze client performance, business trends, and pipeline opportunities to support strategic decision-making, as well as the coordination of cross-functional teams to execute client initiatives and deliver business outcomes.
- Support pipeline management, coordinating cross-functional teams to execute client initiatives and deliver business outcomes.
- Develop executive-level presentations, business reviews, and recommendations that demonstrate the value of Visa solutions.
- Drive operational efficiencies and orchestrate other supporting teams to ensure maintenance and improvement of portfolio performance.
- Support commercial negotiations, client incentives and business renewals;
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date account information by maintaining rigorous CRM data hygiene and adherence to data management best practices
- Safeguard data integrity and compliance with Visa Policies
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, sales, consulting, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Knowledge of banking operations, card issuing businesses, and payment ecosystems.
- Ability to develop, lead and close complex competitive sales efforts
- Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships
- Demonstrate understanding of the payments landscape and technology solutions to implement creative strategies to grow Visa’s business.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem solving and relationship management skills.
- Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making
- Advanced English.
