Job Summary

As a Relationship Manager within Standard Chartered, you will take a pivotal role in cultivating and managing enduring relationships with our distinguished clientele in the Affluent segment. Your primary goal will be to facilitate comprehensive financial solutions that align with clients' evolving aspirations while upholding operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Embedded within the Wealth and Retail Banking division, you will serve a diverse clientele ranging from emerging affluent individuals to established high-net-worth clients, spanning Private Banking and Priority Banking services. The division is supported by a substantial investment of USD $1.5 billion geared towards expanding our affluent banking franchise, enriching digital platforms, and enhancing client engagement tools.

This position demands a proactive professional committed to delivering personalised wealth management strategies, employing a blend of local expertise and global insights. The role is vital in fostering long-term client growth, contributing to the bank’s strategic pursuit of excellence in affluent banking.

Key Responsibilities

Additionally, collaborate closely with internal wealth management teams and branch personnel to coordinate efforts and optimise the client journey, ensuring seamless service and compliance with all regulatory obligations.

Skills and Experience

- We invite professionals with 5 to 10 years of experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and retail banking, particularly with affluent clients.
- The ideal candidate understands consumer banking products such as treasury services, equities, investment funds, and insurance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client partnerships are essential.
- Applicants should be collaborative and proactive, thriving in multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian market and client networks is advantageous.
- Selected candidates will participate in an in-person session with the recruitment team to discuss career growth, culture, and strategic alignment.

Educational Credentials

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification is required, with preference given to fields related to finance, economics, business administration, or law.
