Job Description:

As a Staff Enterprise Technology Engineer (Technical Lead), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable serverless solutions that support bp’s Regulatory Reporting landscape. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, performance, and resilience of critical reporting platforms that underpin bp’s global regulatory obligations.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers and support specialists, driving engineering excellence, solution quality, and guidelines across the development lifecycle. Working closely with the Product Owner, Delivery Lead, and Solution Architect, you will supply to technical strategy, architecture, and solution design while remaining actively involved in hands-on development and delivery.

You will bring deep technical expertise across the full technology stack, lead the implementation of complex solutions, mentor engineers, and support the continuous improvement of platforms and processes to ensure the successful delivery of business and regulatory outcomes.
