[JOB SUMMARY]
Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy, team leadership, and execution for the Kérastase brand in Korea, encompassing Product Management (PM), CRM, and Media. Drive brand desirability, recruitment, and profitable growth across all channels (Salon, ECOM & Special Retail) by orchestrating integrated 360-degree campaigns, data-driven consumer engagement, impactful media investments, and empowering a high-performing marketing team.
[CORE WORK ACTIVITIES]
- Product Management & Brand Strategy
- Define the strategic directions and the 3-year marketing plan, guide portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue)
- Develop and execute the yearly marketing roadmap, new product launch (NPD) plans, and lifecycle management for key Kérastase franchises.
- Take ownership of launches and create the right angle of attack locally to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences locally. Supervise the entire campaign development process and respect deadlines
- Define local pricing, assortment strategies, and promotional calendar tailored to the Korean professional haircare market.
- Collaborate with Global/Zone teams and local cross-functional partners (Communication, ECOM, CDMO, Supply Chain, Education) to ensure seamless execution.
- CRM & Consumer Engagement Strategy
- Drive brand consumer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through holistic CRM programs and customer journey mapping.
- Analyze consumer data and platform behaviors (ECOM/Salon) to optimize segmentation, targeted messaging, and loyalty member activation (e.g., Naver Lounge, MBB).
- Media Strategy & Performance Optimization
- Plan and execute comprehensive 360-degree media campaigns (Digital, Social, Influencer, OOH) to maximize brand awareness and ROI.
- Track, analyze, and report on key media KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion, ROAS) to continuously optimize media spend and channel mix.
- Partner with external agencies and media partners to secure strategic partnerships and innovative media placements.
- Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop the marketing team (PM, CRM, Media), fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance.
- Set clear individual and team objectives, provide regular constructive feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Mentor team members to strengthen their competencies in marketing, strategic thinking, and project management.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration and resource allocation effectively to ensure smooth campaign execution.
[QUALIFICATIONS]
- University graduate
- 8+ years of professional experience in product and digital marketing (including a minimum of 5 years in building product/category strategic and creative consumer marketing campaigns)
- Knowledge and understanding of consumer communication and B2C / ECOM business
- Proven track record of people development, team management, and cross-functional leadership
- Ability to leverage knowledge of marketing, products, digital communication, and competitor landscape translates them into short- and long-term marketing strategy
Good communication skill both in Korean and English
