Job Description

The Treasury Associate, Cash Reconciliations performs the daily cash-to-ledger reconciliation and control activities that verify the firm’s cash balances tie to its banks of record, ensuring the books balance and that sufficient client reserves are maintained. Working across the firm’s image cash letter and primary concentration accounts, the role reconciles daily wire and check activity, classifies items as firm or client, and identifies, investigates, and reports breaks to accountable business units for timely resolution. The role also supports the daily reserve (15c3-3) attestation; administers domestic and foreign exchange bank accounts and RJF Treasury internal systems; performs monthly bank fee aggregation and user access reviews; and prepares related general ledger entries. Applying advanced skills gained through education and experience, the Treasury Associate works from established procedures and general direction on complex, non-routine assignments, resolves most questions independently, escalates new or unusual issues as appropriate, serves as a resource to others on complex matters, and maintains routine contact with internal and external partners to obtain, clarify, and provide information.
